9-11 + 22 A classic case of the cure being worse than the disease | Eastern NC Now

Today is September 11, 2023.  Twenty-two years after the World Trade/Pentagon attacks by foreign terrorists.  Since there has been no similar attack since then many Americas are content to simply believe that this event in history has ended.  But the truth is, the attack itself did little damage compared to the damage that has been done by our own government to our rights and the foundations of the American system created by our Founders.  This damage has been orchestrated by a cabal of corrupt politicians and bureaucrats Washington D. C.

This group, and the machinery they have put into place, has done more to transform our nation than any attacks of foreign terrorists, or domestic terrorists or in fact by any war in which we have been involved in since the Civil War.  In effect, a fourth branch of government has been created that is not a part of the traditional three branches of Legislative, Executive or Judicial.  For purposes of understanding what it is and how this fourth branch operates we call it the Intelligence Branch.

The venerable author at The Last Refuge, Sundance, has explained what has happened since 9-11 in explicit detail.  What he does is connect known facts and draws a picture that has existed right under our noses since then.   

On this, the twenty-second anniversary of 9-11 all Americans should become aware of these events and reflect on what is needed to clean up this mess that far exceeds the rubble in Washington and New York from that day.  Unless we do so it is highly probable that those who set about using the attacks twenty-two years ago will succeed…while we go about our daily grind paying no attention to what is being done to our liberty far beyond what foreign terrorists could have ever done.

Barack Obama and Eric Holder did not create a weaponized DOJ and FBI; the institutions were already weaponized by the Patriot Act.  What Obama and Holder did was take the preexisting system and retool it, so the weapons of government only targeted one side of the political continuum.

This point is where many people understandably get confused.

Elevator Speech:

(1) The Patriot Act turned the intel surveillance radar from foreign searches for terrorists to domestic searches for terrorists.

(2) Obama/Biden then redefined what is a “terrorist” to include their political opposition.

In the era shortly after 9/11, the DC national security apparatus, instructed by Vice President Dick Cheney, was constructed to preserve continuity of government and simultaneously view all Americans as potential threats. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) were created specifically for this purpose.

After 9/11/01, the electronic surveillance system, that was originally created to monitor threats from abroad, was retooled to monitor threats inside our country.  That is when all of our electronic ‘metadata’ came under federal surveillance.

That inflection point, and the process that followed, was exactly what Edward Snowden tried to point out.

What Barack Obama and Eric Holder did with that new construct was refine the internal targeting mechanisms, so that only their political opposition became the target of this new national security system.

The problems we face now as a country are directly an outcome of two very distinct points that were merged by Barack Obama. (1) The post 9/11 monitoring of electronic communication of American citizens; and (2) Obama’s team creating a fine-tuning knob that it focused on the politics of the targets.  This is very important to understand as you dig deeper into this research outline.
