Why are GOP debate "moderators" repeating Democrat talking points? | Eastern NC Now

Media questions rigged and not a real debate

ENCNow

Under the Commission on Presidential Debates events for the general elections, for many cycles liberal media "moderators" have controlled the tone with liberal skewed questions.  This has led the RNC to say it will negotiate 2024 debates directly with the Democrats and avoid using that biased committion.  However, even using Fox News, they are still encountering the same problems with biased moderators who use Democrat talking points for their questions.

That problem was obvious in last night's debate. particularly with the moderator from Univision.  It was also blatant at the first debate, particularly when one moderator tried to stampede the candidates into agreeing to the globalist position on climate asking them to raise their hands if they agreed with the gloom and doom narrative.  To his crecit Ron deSantis immediate crying foul and Vivek Ramaswammy blurted out that the Climate Crisis narrative was a hoax.

The way to prevent moderators from hijacking debates is to take away the power to ask questions.  The best option is the Lincoln-Douglas debate format where each candidates propounds an equal number of questions.  Taking the biased media hacks out of it.

And here is another questionable "moderator" from Fox.  Dana Perino, who hosted a Clinton Foundation panel introducing "the amazing Hillary Clinton".  Why is someone like THAT moderating a GOP debate???  And choosing the questions to ask ?????
