Charles Oliver Foreman, Sr. | Eastern NC Now

    Charles Oliver Foreman, Sr., age 72, a resident of Kelly Rd., Bath, NC passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at his home.

    A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

    Mr. Foreman was born on January 11, 1941 in Beaufort County, son of the late Hugh and Claudia Sawyer Foreman. He was married on February 1, 1964 to Janice Marie Cox Foreman who survives. Charles served his country in the United States Navy. He was a heavy equipment operator with Trader Construction Co. Charles was married at and attended St. Clairs Church of Christ.

    In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Charles O. Foreman, Jr. of Atlanta, Timothy Foreman of Bath, Curtis Lee Foreman and wife April of Gold Hill, NC and Hugh James Foreman; his daughter, Greta Marie Compton and husband Keith of Salisbury; his brother, Hugh Curtis Foreman of New Bern; a special niece, Cathy Burbage; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Lee Foreman and his sister, Mary Carolyn Cordon.

    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to McConnell Raab Hope Lodge, 930A Wellness Dr., Greenville, NC 27834.
