House Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Congresswoman Kay Granger (RINO-Texas) was a key ringleader in the opposition to Jim Jordan as House Speaker. That led a local conservative Texas businessman to announce a primary challenge to Granger. After taking stock of her primary prospects, Granger has announced her retirement from Congress rather than running again.

Good riddance is right. We need to get rid of more establishment RINOs like Granger. Several more of the anti-Jordan cabal are drawing primary challengers, so hopefully we will see more of them go down.
