Nikki Haley On Rising Threats In World: ‘America Can Never Be Neutral Between Good And Evil’ | Eastern North Carolina Now

Former South Carolina Republican Governor Nikki Haley said during a speech over the weekend that the United States can never remain neutral when it comes to the battle between good and evil.

Haley made the remarks during a speech primarily about Israel on Saturday at the Republican Jewish Coalition Leadership Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"The world is on fire. But here in America, we're acting like it's September 10, when we were blind to the world's dangers," she began. "We need to remember what it felt like on September 12. America has to get this right. For the sake of our brothers and sisters in Israel. For the sake of the American people."

"We need to wake up. We need to regain our moral clarity," she said. "And we don't just need to remind ourselves about the difference between good and evil. We need to commit ourselves to ensure that good defeats evil. That means fighting anti-Semitism in Congress and college campuses. And it means giving Israel everything she needs to destroy Hamas - once and for all!"

Haley, a GOP presidential contender, recounted fighting against anti-Semitism while serving as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and helping push back against the global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign.

"In this room, we understand the fundamental difference between right and wrong - between good and evil," she said. "And when we see evil, we must always meet it head-on. Not with half-steps and empty words. Not with fear. But with strong action and a full-throated defense of truth."

"What's happening in Israel is a clear-cut case of good and evil," she continued. "It doesn't get more clear than freedom-loving people defending themselves from barbaric terrorists."

Haley warned against listening to those who have started to call for a "ceasefire" as Israel conducts military operations against the Hamas terrorists who murdered more than 1,400 people earlier this month.

"America can never be neutral between good and evil," she said. "We must pick a side. And we serve our own national interests best when we side with good."

Haley later acknowledged that former President Donald Trump was pro-Israel while he was president but cautioned over what he might do in the future if he becomes president again.

"We all know what Trump did in the past," she said. "The question is... what will he do in the future?"

She highlighted the increasing threats and dangers from across the globe and warned that "given those stakes, we cannot have four years of chaos, vendettas, and drama."

"We can't afford to go down that road - not now," she said. "Eight years ago, it was good to have a leader who broke things. But right now, we need a leader who also knows how to put things back together."

She then criticized Trump for describing Hezbollah terrorists as "very smart" and criticizing Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the October 7 attacks.

"As president, I will not compliment Hezbollah," she said. "Nor will I criticize Israel's prime minister in the middle of tragedy and war. We have no time for personal vendettas."

In the minds of many, since January 20, 2021, the World has become far less safe in every theater of conflict, beginning with the attack of Israel by Iran /Hamas, so the question becomes: What caused this Worldwide calamity of extreme geopolitical dysfunction, and what will correct it?
Joe Biden is the cause of this frightening Worldwide situation, and it will end when a Republican is elected president.
This delayed Worldwide dysfunction and constant conflict is all Donald Trump's fault, as it is with everything that occurs going forward, and long before the man ever became the 45th president..
Joe Biden is the "root cause" of this frightening Worldwide situation, and it will end when former President Donald John Trump is elected president.
