Now it is South Africa planning major deportation of illegal alien migrants | Eastern NC Now

will exit UN convention on asylum

ENCNow

As illegal immigration threatens countries around the world, South Africa is the latest to announce plans for major deportation of swarms of illegal alien migrants. Since many of these economic migrants falsely claim to be "refugees" seeking "asylum", South Africa has announced it plans to withdraw from the UN convention on refugees to give itself full flexibility to send these migrants home.

The US should do the same to end the "asylum" scam.

Meanwhile, Finland has toughtened its border with more troops, closing border crossings, and using riot control measures to keep migrants from crossing after Putin's Russia has been flying illegal aliens up from Africa and the Middle East and helping them cross into Finland.  Instead of just processing them like Biden, Finland is engaged in active measures to keep them out.

Asylum rules are being widely abused by economic migrants all over the world. It is worst in western countries like the US and Europe, but as South Africa shows, it is not exclusive to western countries. Junking those asylum rules as South Africa is doing is well justified, given all the abuse of them. There is another approach as used by Hungary and that is to not allow migrants already in a safe country to enter. Even under the present asylum rules, they can be turned back and they should be.
