News Release:

S.W. Snowden Elementary School recently recognized the 2012-2013 SWS Student Council for organizing and coordinating the school's "Pennies for Patients," fund raiser.

Students from Pre-K through grade 8 participated in collecting spare change. All proceeds were sent to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help fund patient and community services, research, public health, and professional education. S.W. Snowden raised $443.05 this year and hopes to beat this total in 2013-2014.
