French Senate moving to ban gender transitioning of children | Eastern NC Now

Hard on the heels of other European countries moving to halt the gender transitioning of children by genital mutilation surgery and chemical castration ("puberty blocker") drugs, the majority party in the French Senate has issued a report on the subject as the first step in legislation to ban those practices in France. The UK's National Health Service has been the latest to ban these practices.

Senator Jacqueline Brinio of the traditional conservative Les Republicains, which has a solid majority in the French Senate, has released a report compiled after a lengthy investigation of gender transition practices on children in France that outlines the harm these practices pose to children.  This report is the prelude to legislation from Les Republicains to ban these practices in the country.
