More evidence keeps developing showing the political nature of the Trump prosecutions.  The latest is that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's top prosecutor was paid as a political consultant by the Democrat National Committee according to federal election filings.

Matthew Colangelo, Bragg's top prosecutor in the Trump Manhattan trial, gave the prosecution's opening statement.  He is a former paid political consultant for the Democrat National Committee, receiving $12,000 for his services according to the records of the Federatl Election Commission.  He was appointed a top official in the Department of Justice by the Biden White House, but resigned in 2022 to move to New York to take a position with Bragg to work on his prosecution of Trump, one of two top Biden DOJ officials known to have done that.

Colangelo is a Democrat political operative and his assignment to New York to get Trump is blatantly political.  Similarly, there are at least two paid Democrat operatives on Fani Willis' staff in Georgia with significant work histories with the Georgia Demcrat Party and the Democrat National Committee.
