Stallin-style show trial is backfiring on Democrats
The first post verdict poll of American voters is out and it is likely to have the Democrats pulling their hair out. President Trump's favorability jumped 6 points from the previous poll. In some ways it is not surprising that the verdict boosted Trump's standing with voters since that has been already moving higher throughout the trial. The poll was conducted for the UK's largest circulation newspaper, the Daily Mail of London.
