Louisiana has become the 29th state with Constitutional Carry of firearms, which means citizens no longer need a concealed carry permit in that state. The law which was passed by the legislature and signed by the governor has now taken effect for the state's citizens.
Constitutional Carry legislation failed last year in North Carolina when liberal "Republican" state senate boss Phil Berger declared that the senate would not pass it. Berger did that on the day when the bill was scheduled for adoption in the House on a floor vote and led the House Speaker to pull it from the calendar at the last minute..
