52 country poll finds 2 to 1 view that "refugees" are really economic migrants | Eastern NC Now
poll conducted by UN High Commissioner on Refugees
A new poll conducted for the UN High Commissioner on Refugees by the European polling firm IPSOS has found that people around the world view that those who claim to be refugees today are really just economic migrants seeking jobs or welfare and they hold that view by a 2 to 1 margin. IPSOS polled 33,000 people in 52 countries.
Poll results were similar both in countries from which "asylum seekers" come and in their destination countries. It should be clear from this poll that the whole "asylum" game is a dishonest racket.
