Investigative journalist: Obama was the ringleader in coup that ousted Biden | Eastern NC Now

Leading investigative journalist Seymour Hersch had been exploring leads on what exactly happened in the coup that ousted Biden as Democrat presidential nominee and reports that a phone call after breakfast on Sunday from Obama to Biden was the final push.  In that phone call, Obama told Biden that he had the votes including Kamala Harris to invoke the 25th amendment to remove Biden from the presidency and required an immediate answer. The coup plotters were only tentative in okaying Kamala Harris as a replacement and preferred to wait and see how her candidacy developed.  Biden's subwequent endorsement of Harris was largely an "up yours" to Obama to keep him from being the kingmaker.
