Trump proposes end of taxation of Social Security benefits | Eastern North Carolina Now

and end to unfair double taxation of citizens

ENCNow

President Trump has proposed ending the federal  taxation of Social Security benefits.  This unfair double taxation has plagued senior citizens for decades.  Many states, including North Carolina, exempt all Social Security benefits from taxation, but for federal income taxes, the usual situation is that 50% of them are taxed.  Taxpayers already paid taxes on the money back when they originally earned it and get taxed a second time when they receive their money back as benefits.

Seniors need this money to pay for the higher cost of gas, food, and other things that has resulted from the Biden-Harris economic policies.

You can do it. Keep trying.

Your comments are pretty pointless, and all lifted out of the far left talking points of the day, Bobbie. Go play Bubmle Puppy (read Huxley's "Brave New World" for instructions).

As usual you missed the point of my comment. Go get a juice box and think about it. You'll get it.

Little Bobbie seems to be stuck in the old Soviet Union. You used the word "weird" because that is in the far left talking points these days. You would not have thought of it on your own.

Then there is JS-stuck in Jr. high
Btw- I used the weird comment to get a reaction. Watching your head explode was fun.

Whatever the far left talking point du jour happens to be, we can expect to see you regurgitate it here, Bobbie, but never anything to the right of Lenin.

JS- we are all a product of the media we consume. You, me, all of us. I consume media from all points of view. As an educated open minded individual, i draw my own conclusions as best I can.

Im open to the notion that ideas evolve. That growth is possible. As I age, I see that relationships with people and how we treat each other are far more important than I thought back when I was 20.
Our time here is short. Nothing is permanent. Use your time wisely.

You have to excuse Bobbie. He just posts what he reads of the far left talking points, and in his glassy eyed stare, swears it to be "the truth".

Not near as many as you would think. Show me a man who thinks he's never wrong, I'll show you an orange fat man.

Seems like folks have to "clear up" a lot of the false statements BB makes.

The comment below was plain and accurate to everyone but you, Little Bobbie. Your head seems to be turned to mush by all those far left talking points you seem to constantly process.

Ah- For some it says 85% maybe taxable, I read it as they can take up to 85% which I didn't think was true. Thanks for clearing that up.
