gender de-transitioner, 20, sues Planned Parenthood for malpractice | Eastern NC Now

Cristina Hineman, 20, of Albany, New York, went through drug treatment and surgery at Planned Parenthood to become a man, and then after further consideration realized she is really a woman and de-transitioned.  She is now suing Planned Parenthood for malpractice.  While there are quite a few malpractice lawsuits being filed against doctors involved in "gender reassignment" surgery, including at least one here in North Carolina, this is the first lawsuit against Planned Parenthood over "gender affirming care".

Cristina, who had a number of underlying mental health issues, says she was "brainwashed" into believing that transitioning to a man would solve them.  Planned Parenthood first put her on testosterone drugs and then surgically removed her breasts.  While her female genitals were not removed, the testosterone had seriously deformed them.  She also has other side effects like hair growing all over her body.
