Macron makes Vichy France look free
As much of Europe is sliding behind a new Iron Curtain of totalitarian censorship, the latest travesty is Frnace's arrest at an airport of the billionaire CEO of the Telegram social media site for failing to follow the EU diktat on politically censoring its users. The far left euphemism for censorship is "moderation". Macron and his thugs are acting just like Marshall Petain would have in Vichy France. Free speech, the very cornerstone of democracy is dying in Europe, and when it is gone, so is democracy.
Telegram is based in Dubai. This is not the first attempt at political censorship of Telegram. Its CEO fled Russia in 2014 when Putin tried to force his company to censor communications of the Russian opposition. Putin and Macron seem to be two peas in a totalitarian pod.
Its founder, Pavel Durov, is a citizen of the United Arab Emirates, France, and Russia. Deep state bagman Alexander Vindman posted that Elon Musk should be concerned. The CEO of video sharing site Rumble has revealed that France has also threatened Rumble/
Just a few weeks ago, a top French EU functionary threatened Elon Musk to try to force him to censor his interview with Donald Trump in our own American politics. The EU has also threatened Musk to try to force him to politically censor Twitter / X and Musk refused. Musk revealed that the EU had offered to arrange a hidden censorship on Twitter, and Musk said NO.
WE should remember that France is a country where in the last year, a man was arrested for flipping the bird to Macron, a woman was arrested for calling Macron "a piece of filth" on social media, two feminist leaders were arrested for sayiing that there were womens spaces where only real women should be allowed, and a French senator was arrested for posting "immigration kills" online. Macron would have fit right in during fascist Vichy France.

Meanwhile, across the channel in the UK, the new Labour government in only two months is turning the country into a police state, turning thousands of criminals out of prison so they could be replaced by those who commit what Orwell called "thought crimes". Free speech is rapidly disappearing in the UK.
If we do not want to lose our freedom of speech in America, we need to do all we can to see that Kamala Harris is NOT elected. She is a globalist who like Biden has a distain for free speech.

Obviously, your far left talking points don't bother to tell you about the Twitter files that Musk released when he took over showing massive government pressure to censor Americans on that site, or the recent letter from Mark Zuckerburg, who is not anything close to being conservative, acknowleding and appologizing for govenrment censorship on Facebook.
The fact is that the government censors concentrate on big national platforms, not on a regional platform in eastern North Carolina, at least not so far. Bolshevik Bob, you are the one full of BS and always are. It is useful idiots like you who encourage the government threat to free speech. |

The left's attack on free speech is halting it on the public square, and in these days, the public square largely means the internet. What is being censored is conservative speech because the left is running the censorship. They generally do not censor their own. Facebook is a horror story of censorship if one does not post "approved" viewpoints, for example. RFK.Jr. has been censored in multiiple venues and a federal district court recently ruled that he had standing to sue the Biden-Harris regime over that. When the Biden-Harris regime tried to put their political censorship out public with thier Owellian "Ministry of Truth" instead of just doing it behind the scenes, they got so much pushback they had to abandon it.
People should be able to say anything they want, and we should not have censors trying to deny that, either government or quasi-government. |

A good example of censorship in America is how the information on the Hunter BIden laptop was systematically surpressed. If that information had gotten out, polls showed it would have changed the outcome of the presidential election. But our crooked KGB . . err . . FBI was thick into censoring and suppressing that information.
Anybody on Fakebook knows that censorship is real and has been going on for some time. The Twitter files show it had been going on heavily there, too, before Elon Musk bought it. |
