While most voters have familiarized themselves with the races at the top of the ballot, there are a host of statewide races that get much less voter attention. In this year's election, that is where some of the most far left candidates NC has ever seen are lurking.
In the race for Commissioner of Labor, the Democrats have nominated Braxton Winston, who has led BLM riots in Charlotte in recent years. Winston is the individual seen facing Charlotte police in the photo above with his fist in the air, no shirt, and his pants pulled down gangster-style. Does his behavior make him look like someone voters would want running a Council of State department?
Then there is Mo Green, Democrat nominee for Superintendent of Public Instruction. Green has served for years as the director of the Smith Reynolds Foundation, a major funding organization for the left and far left in North Carolina. Among the organizations that Green has funded that are involved in education are a group working to get the school resources officers out of schools and another that wants to push sexual content in the schools to children as young as 4. Does that background sound like someone voters want with a major role in education in our state?
The Democrats have also gone far to the left for their nominee for the state supreme court. Their candidate for supreme court justice is Allison Riggs, whose only experience in law before getting a Democrat political appointment as a judge was being a lawyer for the far left activist group Southern Coalition for Social Justice based in Durham. In that position, one of her leftist crusades was to try to thwart photo voter ID, a key election integrity measure that is an international best practice in keeping elections free and fair. Voters in North Carolina overwhelmingly approved photo voter ID but Riggs and her “social justice” crowd have been dead set against it and fought it tooth and nail in the courts. Does her background fit with what voters want on our courts?
We have already seen the Democrats moving far to the left in the higher races. Kamala Harris, for example, was the most leftwing member of the US Senate, even to the left of avowed socialist Bernie Sanders, before becoming a very leftwing vice president. Josh Stein in the governor's race is also the most leftwing major party candidate to ever run for that office, but it is the lower ticket statewide races where some of the candidates really make one's stomach churn.
Tell Mark. He said it. Not me. BO should be ashamed. It completely validates most of my points. If you can’t say no to that, you can’t say no to anything

All three of the candidates mentioned are bad on illegal immigration. Two have been heavily involved in high positions with leftwing organizations that promote illegal immigration, the Southern Coalition for Social Justice and the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation. The third, Braxton Winston had a well publicized confrontation with ICE officials in which Winston demanded all sorts of favors for illegal aliens.
They are all immigration radicals and we do not need them in public office. |
The Democrat Party in NC has gone to the far left. These three candidates are clearly radical left, but then go are Stein and Harris.

Democrat governor candidate Josh Stein is much farther from the center TO THE LEFT, than Robinson is from center to the right. If there is an extreme candidate ideologically in the governor's race, it is Democrat Stein. With Robinson as Lieutentant Governor, he has most often been too scared to take a stand on much any live issue, although he gives lofty oratory about generalities.
There are a number of things about Robinson, like his reluctance to take stands on real issues and his lackluster record in business that have given me pause about him, but when the alternative is far left Josh Stein, Robinson suddenly becomes more acceptable. |
There is NO "black Nazi". That is made up BS in an "October surprise" by far left CNN (Communist News Network). The totalitariam in our politics comes from Democrats who want to destroy freedom of speech. The most recent was Hillary clinston to call for internet censorship, yesterday, whining that her side "would lose all control" if they did not censor the internet.

Spoken by the editorial team backing the black Nazi. Good lord. Talk about extreme.

If Dems let Trump tax cuts expire it will soak seniors for $8-9 Billion | Editorials, Beaufort Observer, Op-Ed & Politics | far left NEA teachers union bankrolls attack postcards against Michele Morrow |
Your "points" are nothing but the far left political narrative and NOTHING validates that garbage.
