Biggest loser in the election was corporate media industrial complex | Eastern NC Now

Corporate media that styles itself the MSM has been in the tank for the Democrats for decades, but in past elections not as much or as obvious as they were for Kamala Harris.  What has happened with their shrill cheerleading for Kamala Harris is that the American public no longer trusts them.  As Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos points out, the credibility of the national media now rants as the lowest of any institution in America, even below that of Congress.

They outted themselves as biased actors when they jumped into both the presidential and vice presidential debates against the Republicans.  Their "news" coverage has been highly slanted.  On the eve of the presidential debate, for example, it was pointed out that 100% of ABC News coverage of Kamala Harris was positive while 93% of their coverage of Donald Trump was negative.  How is an institution like that going to have any credibility to conduct a fair debate.

This election has demonstrated that the MSM media no longer controls acces to information for voters.  Many voters are now turning to sources like podcasts for their election information.
