Harris confirms she ran a fake campaign
Brianna Lyman, writing at the Federalist, offers what we think is a profound observation of Tuesday's election, or more specifically of the dishonest Democrat campaign:
Failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris admitted on Wednesday that she knew every single attack she launched against President-Elect Donald Trump and his presidency was a bald-faced lie.
More than twelve hours after Trump delivered a stunning blow to the regime and swept both the popular vote and Electoral College, Harris took the stage at Howard University to begrudgingly concede. She could have conceded in the wee hours of the morning, but that would have required showing up when it mattered — something she clearly doesn’t do (see her disastrous handling of Afghanistan).
But it wasn’t her hollow speech about “unity” and “joy” that stood out. It was the moment she openly confessed to spreading egregious falsehoods about Trump for months, all in a desperate attempt to sway the election.
“To the young people that are watching, it is okay to feel sad and disappointed,” Harris said. “But please know it’s going to be okay.”
It’s going to be okay?
How can it be okay when Harris told us that her opponent is a fascist? She said a Trump victory would be “dangerous” and a “huge risk for America.” Harris claimed that Trump “wants to send the military after American citizens” and that “he is out for unchecked power.” She painted him as an existential threat to “democracy” itself.
But now it’s “going to be okay?”
The truth is, it’s easy for her to say that “it’s going to be okay” because it will be okay. And it will be okay because everything Harris said was just a lie. The attacks, the smears, the fearmongering — it was nothing more than a political stunt designed to scare voters into supporting her because her policy positions weren’t enough to drag her across the finish line.
Harris banked her entire electoral victory on her supporters being ignorant about who Trump really is and what his presidency could achieve. And now, after losing, she can admit the truth — but it’s too little too late. Her divisive rhetoric, alongside the hate-filled narrative pushed by her party and the propaganda press, did more than just tarnish Trump’s reputation — it demonized half the country. It fostered an atmosphere of hate that contributed to the first two assassination attempts against Trump.
But now she wants to say it’s “going to be okay?” Sure, things will be okay — thanks to Trump’s leadership and America-first policies. But the damage Harris did by stoking division, fear, and hatred for political gain will never be “okay.”

It would appear that Josef Goebbels and Lord Haw Haw, as well as the faceless propagandists at Pravda of the Stalin era are the role models for America's corporate media, AKA the alphabet media. MSM should stand for Marxist Socialist Media. I think these phonies lost the last ounce of credibility and trust that anyone had in them this election. They should NEVER be allowed to run presidential debates ever again.

Kamala Harris and her blatantly lying campaign were sure enough a big loser in this election season. To paraphrase her campaign: It's OK that we elected Hitler because it's a lie that Trump is Hitler. Yeah, that's pretty convoluted.
In a season of lots of losers, I think the biggest loser is the corporate main-stream media. They went all in on the deceitful Harris selection by the Democrat powerbrokers and their horrendously dishonest campaign first to last. They were (and are) not practicing journalism. They are fanatical, dishonest advocates. It has all been exposed, and the corporate media is left with zero credibility to all but the most radical, the most ignorant, and the most stupid among us. Our society has for quite a while been replacing this corrupt institution with other sources. After this election, that process should be much closer to completion. Another monumental loser in all of this is the NC GOP and the citizens of North Carolina. Trump won North Carolina in spite of the pathetic pay-for-play NCGOPe that abandoned the Republican Council of State candidates and left us a disaster at home in a year of a Trump landslide. In NC the GOP must be reformed. If not, it will continue to rot into oblivion. Perhaps the GOP in NC is in the process of being replaced too. Already, conservatives are being forced to find support outside of a hostile GOP while running under the GOP banner. Congratulations to those candidates because they, like Trump, have had to do it the hard way. |

The American voting system has been fairly strong, although it lacks some key safeguards, like nationwide photo voter ID, which is best practice for election integrity around the world. After the UK put it in place starting with their last local election, the US is now the only industrialized nation that lacks this very fundamental election integrity measure.
What screwed up our 2020 election was that partisan Democrat shyster Marc Elias filed lawsuits all around the country to try to weaken election integrity measures, with those lawsuits often dealt with in the backroom with "sue and settle" deals with Democrat election officials. What got things almost back to normal this election was two things. First, some of the Elias shananigans were reversed, and second Republicans deployed lots of attorneys to deal with those still in place to keep the election honest. Some of the Elias garbage still exists some places like unattended ballot drop boxes and expanded mail-in voting, and to really secure our election system, those need to be completely reined in. |

I think the abortion issue will now be dead and buried. The Democrats have cried "wolf" on that for too long and they did it too loudly this election. All of their scare stories about Trump and abortion will soon be shown to be outright lies, and they will never have credibility on that issue again. As the new Trump adminstration progresses, all women will be able to see that the sky is NOT falling and they were being played by the Democrats.
