Mail in ballot fraud in Beaufort Cty: a voter mailed in 2 ballots 2 days apart | Eastern North Carolina Now

mail in ballots are an inherent problem

ENCNow

The sharp eyes of the Beaufort County Board of Elections staff caught and thwarted an attempt at vote fraud with mail-in ballots by a Democrat voter.  A military voter mailed in two separate ballots two days apart, both voted straight Democrat, and both were counted election night.  Both were in envelopes with the voter's return address.  The Board of Elections keeps the envelopes ballots are returned in, so this could be discovered.  With absentee ballots, the ballots can also be retrieved, and these two ballots were retrieved and the votes of one of them deducted from the totals.

This information is from one of the observers at the election canvas by the Beaufort County Board of Elections.

One wonders how this voter was able to do this.  Did he counterfeit one of the ballots with a photocopier?  Did the BOE make a mistake and send him two ballots? Whatever happened, every voter knows they are not supposed to vote twice.  It is u;nclear what action will be taken against this vote fraudster but he should be referred for prosecution.

THis is just one more example of how mail-in ballots are prone to vote fraud, a reality that was in the report of the Commission on US elections headed by Jimmy Carter.

The second attempted double voter in Beaufort County was from a heavily Democrat precinct, so the odds are that he was a Democrat voter like the first. Both need to be prosecuted.

The only one of the two whose votes can be determined was a straight ticket Democrat voter, including Kamala Harris. That is known because in absentee voting, the ballot can be extracted. It was and the votes read off in the public meeting so they could be subtracted from the vote count. The other voter was stopped before his second vote was cast, so his first ballot was not extracted and thus his vote is unknown.

There was a second attempt in Beaufort County to vote twice. A voter who voted in early voting also showed up at his precinct on election day and tried to vote again. He was turned away because the computerized record showed he had already voted. I don't know the party alignment of that one.

On the military mail-in voter, apparently the elections board had a screw up and somehow sent him two ballots. In spite of that screw up, every voter knows they are only supposed to vote once, and it shows criminal intent to vote the second time, especailly since he tried to cover his tracks by sending them in on different days.

It looks like the election day early voter will be referred for prosecution, but not as certain on the mail in voter.

And I have said before Until someone goes to prison, I mean present, this will never stop and as we've seen in 2020, it will only get worse.

On planet earth- BC also is a small county with a low population. Easier to spot irregular voting patterns.

Did you know that USA citizens living abroad (not military) can vote via email in NC elections?

The dude who voted twice needs to be prosecuted. Our board of elections needs to refer him for prosecution to the DA.

Beaufort County has one of the most competent and honest elections offices in the state. If that double voter had tried that in Durham, Mecklenburg, Wake, or a bunch of other counties, it probably would not have been caught, or if it was caught, nothing done about it. He does need to be prosecuted, although being out of town in the military, that may be tricky.
