Is Mitch McConnell about to openly become Democrats' point man in the Senate? | Eastern NC Now

Mitch McConnell has long used his former Senate leadership position to break Republican opposition to Democrat legislation, particularly spending and taxing and debt increase bills, but lots of other things, too.  Both Obama and Biden had McConnel to thank for their big spending and other bills getting through the Senate.  Now, immediately after leaving that leadership position, it appears McConnell is manuevering to become a major Democrat point man against Trump in the Senate.

McConnell is also known as "China Mitch" for being in Red China's hip pocket. The Red Chinese government created a shipping company to gift to McConnell's wife and her family.  The Chinese provide the ships, the crews, and the cargoes.  McConnell's wife and her family just rake in the money.  McConnell should probably be charged for treason for this corrupt arrangement.

But now McConnell sems to want to greatly expand his treason against his party by helping the Democrats block Trump's "recess appointments" and helping the Democrats slow walk Trump's nominees.  This would also be in the interest of McConnell's Red Chinese pals.

McConnell openly stated at a gathering in Washington, DC Sunday evening that "there will be no recess appointments".  Funny thing, McConnell had no problem with Obama and Biden recess appointments, but he is stabbing his own party in the back on the very same issue.  McConnell also helped Obama and Biden get their appointments through quickly.

This comes after the new Senate Majority Leader John Thune, a McConnell ally, had promised to support recess appointments so Trump appointees can hit the ground running.  McConnell seems to be knifing his longtime ally in the back with his pander to the Democrats.

If McConnell persists in this course of action, he should be eviscerated.  The GOP Senate caucus should remove all his committee assignments as an opening move.  As the Wyoming GOP did to LIz Cheney and the Oklahoma GOP did to James Lankford, McConnell should be expelled from his state Repuvlican Party. Any GOP senator that follows him should also be stripped of their committee assignments.  Ultimately, if McConnell continues to work with the Democrats, he should be expelled from the Republican Senate caucus completely.
