Elon Musk, co-leader of the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) which seeks to cut government waste, has indicated that one area they intend to investigate for cutting is the $150 Billion the federal government spends annually on subsidizing illegal aliens. Under federal law, illegal aliens, like legal immigrants, are not supposed to be receiving taxpayer subsidies, but the Biden regime has bent the rules to provide them. They have even stripped money from veterans programs and FEMA to subsidize illegal aliens.

Welfare has been a huge "pull factor" in encouraging illegal aliens to pour over the borders of western countries. In Germany, 63% of their welfare budget now goes to non-citizens, a huge burden on the country's taxpayers. Some countries have responded by reducing or eliminating welfare to illegal aliens to discourage them from coming.

Musk reminds me of "Brainiac" from the old Superman comics. That "dude" (whatever "he" is) is saying AND doing all the right things to get the general voter on his side.

The government doesn't control Musk, he controls the government.

I don't view a person who creates chips to control the human brain as a good guy....no matter how he presents it.

What is maddening is Biden doling out money like a drunken sailor on his way out the door. He just promised a billion to Africa for natural disaster relief when his FEMA leadership has been missing in action on hurricane relief at home. Congress did not approve that Africa money. Shortly before that he promised $5 BIllion to prop up a failing EV company that instead should have been put out of everyone's misery in bankruptcy. He pledged more billions at the recent UN climate conference, and all of this without asking Congress. Biden is also doling out billions to climate alarmist organizations. I hope Trump is able to get all that money back.

There is a lot of state and local taxpayer money being doled out to these freeloadiing migrants, too. All of it needs to be shut off. The only thing they should be given is a ticket home.
