NYC Good Samaratan Penny under prosecution by crooked Soros prosecutor Bragg

An ex-Marine good samaratan who used his skills to save a subway car full of innocent civilians from an insane thug who was threatening to kill them is under criminal trial in New York thanks to the same crooked Soros prosecution who abused his position to politically prosecute Donald Trump. Soros prosecutor Alvin Bragg is trying to jail ex-Marine Daniel Perry because the thug in question died shortly after being released from Penny's choke hold. Expert witnesses have testified that the death was from drugs, not the chokehold. Indeed when the police arrived, the thug was still breathing and had a heartbeat.

Now, a New York City Councilwoman has blasted Bragg for prosecuting Penny. Councilwoman Vickie Paladino asks how many good samaratans will be discouraged from helping protect the public due to this prosecution.

Bragg was also the DA who tried to prosecute the Bodega proprietor who had to shoot a robber who was trying to kill him with a knife. Bragg is pro-criminal and it is an outrage to justice that he occupies a DA's office.

Bragg assigned a lesbian leftist who believes in "restorative justice", a term for using a racial basis for prosecutorial decisions to go after Penny. She constantly injected race into to trial by repeatedly referring to him as "the white man". Assistant DA Dagna Yoran has boasted of how she reduced the charges of a black felon who murdered an elderly Asian man during an armed robbery to manslaughter for "restorative justice".

Justice does not exist in Manhattan courtrooms as long as Soros hack Alvin Bragg is DA. Two dozen Soros DA's have been ousted around the country in thelast two years and Bragg needs to be the next to go. New York judges have also demonstrated that they are little more than political tools.

Having spent decades practicing criminal law, it is clear to me that this was a textbook case of both self defense and even more so defense of others. Alan Dershowitz, a very renowned legal expert, is absolute correct that this case never should have been brought against Penny. The testimony of the other passengers, many of them minorities and including children and the elderly, that they were in fear of their lives from Jordan Neely was clear cut. ONe elderly black woman at the end of her testimony turned to Penny and said "Thank you". Neely made the explicite threat in so many words to kill the passengers and began acting aggressively toward them. Penny was fully justified under the doctrine of defense of others as well as self defense to neutralize the threat. Since Neely was breathing on his own and had a heartbeat when help arrived it is a real stretch to say Penny "killed him".

Those of the left these days want the rights of self defense and defense of others to go away, but they are critical to our system of justice.

Alan Dershowitz, the renowned Harvard Law Professor emeritus was on the radio today, pointed out the Jordan was alive, breathing and heartbeat, when paramedics arrived, that Penny had a solid self defense / defense of others situation, that Penny should have never been charged, and that Alvin Bragg is the worst DA in New York history. Dershowitz is a life long Democrat who voted for Biden in 2020.

I think Alan Dershowitz is a more credible source on how the law applies to these facts than leftwing internet troll Bobbie. That means that Bobbie's contentions are untrue, as usual.
