Wall Street Journal editorial: LA wildfires caused by bad politics not climate change | Eastern NC Now

The Wall Street Journal's editorial board has published an editorial calling the Los Angeles wildfires a result of bad politics from Democrat California politicians, not "climate change".   The WSJ has slapped down the main excuse given by the failed politicians for their incompetence in preparation and response to the wildfires.

The editorial board denounced "the progressive line that climate change is responsible for every natural diasaster except perhaps earthquakes." adding that "in today's climate orthodoxy, bad weather is always man-made."  The editorial used California charts going back 130 years to show alternating wet and dry periods, contrary to the theory of "climate change'. dec;laring "rather than blame the climate for wildfires, the obligation of public officials should be to prepare for them and when they inevitably occur, mitigate the damage."
