Congress passes bill to prohibit biological males in womens sports

The US House of Representatives has pased the Protection of Women and Girls Act that prohibits biological males including those who claim to be "transgender" from playing on girls sports teams at any school that receives federal funds. The bill passed by vote of 218 to 206. All Republicans plus two Democrats voted for the bill. It now goes to the Senate.

This is the exact opposite of what the Biden Democrats tried to do and was recently struck down by a federal judge. The Biden Democrats wanted to REQUIRE such schools to allow biological males to play on womens sports teams.

Womens Olympic gold medalist Martina Navratilova suggested that the Democrats who voted against this bill "should grow a spine."

Next, we need to restore the military to a focus on readiness instead of being a laboratory for woke activism. This is one more aspect of national security and is one more thing that makes a great deal of difference for having a healthy nation state.

Even with a small majority, Republicans are hitting the ground running in Congress. With less than a week in office, they have already passed two significant bills, the Laken Riley Act to crack down on criminal illegal aliens, and now the Protection of Women and Girls Act. That is what real governance looks like, a shining example compared to the massive failures of Democrat "woke" governance on display in California.
