law enforcement supports Gabbard
A key national body representing local law enforcement, the National Sheriffs Association, has thrown its wholehearted support behind the nomination of Tulsi Gabbard to be Director of National Inteligence. They urged the Senate to act quickly to confirm her in that office.
"Ms. Gabbard has demonstrated a commitment to addressing the critical disconnect between our intelligence agencies and local law enforcement in preparing for sophisticated and prevasive attacks," the sheriffs association declared. They also stressed how her experience gave her an excellent background for the position.
