Democrats have fallen all over themselves to prove they cannot properly govern in the Los Angeles wildfire debacle. Both state and local Democrat elected officials have been ensnared in incompetence. The editorial board of the Wall Street Journal has already weighed in on this subject pointing out that the fire disaster has been a result of bad governance, not "climate change". Now one of their top opinion writers has added more to the commentary in an article entitled "The Governance Failures That Fed the Los Angeles Wildfires":

The head of the Los Angeles Firefighers Union has also blasted the political leadership of Los Angeles, pointing out that he had publically warned of exactly this problem months ago.

Preparation is the key in any natural disaster. You want to talk about hurricanes, so lets talk about hurricane Helene. The Republican governors of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina all pre-staged personnel, equipment, and supplies to deal with the storm. The Democrat governor of North Carolina failed to do that. Consequently, the states of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina had better hurricane response than we did.

Roy Cooper should have known better. North Carolina had a hurricane set up just like Helene back in 1916 and was just as big of a disaster. Yet he failed to take the steps other govenors did. Those other governors showed how to govern. Too bad for our own citizens that our governor was not paying attention.

If you don't care about your fellow liberal Bill, maybe you would think about California Democrat congressman Ro Khanna who also says California needs new leadership and Karen Bass needs to go.

Just remember BC is one Cat 4or 5 hurricane away from being in the exact same position as LA.

The problem here is much much deeper than racist DEI, Bigot Bob. Even the DEI hire fire chief functioned on a higher level than the woke mayor and governor. You might want to read what liberal pundit Bill Maher who lives in LA had to say about all three.

The reason people are living in "burned out tents" is that California Democrats played politicis - DEI, not funding the basics like fire protection, paying $2.6 billion per year for health care for illegal aliens who are not even supposed to be here while cutting money for fire protection. Their woke ideology meant more to them than doing the very basic things governments are supposed to do like fire protection.
