New Pope is rabid supporter of open borders, illegal immigration | Eastern NC Now

The new Pope Leo XIV, the first American Pope was raised to the rank of cardinal by the radical leftist Pope Francis I, which is always a cause of concern.  However, he has been registered to vote as a Republican.  Many in the MSM are viewing him as a moderate, and overall, he may turn out less leftist than Francis.  Not being mentioned much in the MSM is that Leo XIV is also a naturalized citizen of Peru where he lived for decades.

However, Leo has actively used social media accounts for years and his posts there give cause for real concern on the major issue of illegal immigration.  As a Cardinal, Leo was extremely active on social media promoting illegal immigration and attacking Republican officials who support strong border, particularly J.D. Vance, but also President Trump on at least one occasion.  Leo even advocated for wife beating human trafficking MS13 gangster (a.k.a the "Maryland man to the MSM) Kitmar Albrego Garcia.

He has been less vocal in supporting gun control and praising George Floyd.  However, he has also been on record as being pro-life and critical of homosexuality and similar lifestyles.  There does not seem to be in clue in his social media on where Leo stands on Francis' climate worship.

One has to be concerned that the highly ideological Francis knew what he was getting and approved when he raised Leo to the rank of cardinal.
