DHS investigates Los Angeles County for giving federal benefits to illegal aliens | Eastern NC Now
cutting off tax money to illegal aliens
Implementing President Trump's executive order to enforce existing federal law against illegal aliens receiving federal benefits, the Department of Homeland Security has launched an investigation of Los Angeles County, California. The investigation will look closely at the county's procedures to be certain no federal funds are going to illegal aliens.
Various federal agencies that disburse federal funds for benefit programs have already issued stern warnings to states that none of the federal funds can be used for illegal aliens. With warnings duly given, things are now moving to the investigation stage.
