Kentucky female Democrat State Senator switches to GOP - "Dems left me"

Another Democrat politician has abandoned the woke sinking ship of the Democrat Party and switched to the Republican Party. The latest to do so is longtime Kentucky State Senator Robin Webb. Webb is a lawyer and rancher who represents Kentucky's 18th senate district, comprised of four counties in eastern Kentucky and has been in the legislature since 1998.

Senator Webb is the third female Democrat state legislator to switch to the Republican Party this year. Two female Florida state representatives preceded her in switching to the GOP. She explained that it was not so much her leaving the Democrat Party, but the Democrat Party leaving her.

"As the Democratic Party continues its lurch to the left and its hyperfocus on policies that hurt workforce and economic development in my region, I no longer feel it represents my values," Senator Webb declared.
