Renowned "dark money" sleuth Peter Schweitzer has had his team at the Government Accountability Institute do a deep dive into the money and organization behind the far left's so-called "No Kings" protests. There are millions of dollars of government money involved, some federal, but mostly from the State of California.
All of the usual suspects on the extreme left are involved including the notorious globalist totalitarian George Soros. As a youth, in World War II Hungary, Soros had been an admitted Nazi collaborator. Most of the funding is coordinated by the far left dark money group Arabella Advisors, whose funding comes from a group of far left billionaires including Soros, Bill Gates, Hansjorg Wyss, Mark Zuckerberg, and Reid Hoffman.
Most of the on the ground logistics is being farmed out by Arabella to a group called Indivisible, which had been formed with financial and organizational assistance from Soros as part of the "resistance" to the first Trump administration. One of its key issues is open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens.
Interestingly, there is, or has been, a Beaufort County chapter of Indivisible. Among those involved in that chapter have been 2024 Democrat county commission candidate Johnny Rodman and his wife.
This leftwing extremist cabal is being called "Riot, Inc." Many of the same cast of characters were involved in promoting the George Floyd insurrection, so their tactics are well known. They seem to have an army of leftwing agitator shock troops, usually for pay, that they can deploy as they need.
Also tied to the No Kings protests is an NGO whose leadership has strong ties to Communist China, its military, and its intelligence apparatus.
The slogan of these protests "No Kings" is an anarchist dog whistle that smacks of ANTIFA, but it was Indivisible that claims to have coined it.

Meanwhile, analysts have found that the Democrat controlled California legislature has dumped $78 million into the migrant NGOs backing the open borders insurrection.

I read where one of the leftist or illegal alien scumbags rioting in Los Angeles got hit by a rubber bullet in his testicles, which burst. Served him right. Now he will remember the foolishness of that riot the rest of his life. If I were a law enforcement officer firing rubber bulliets, I would now know where to aim for maximum impact.

It is well known that many Continental army officers urged George Washington to become king after the success of the American Revolution, and he rejected the idea out of hand, instead becoming our first president. Washington also set the tradition of a president not serving over two terms.
The only other attempt to set up a monarchy in the United States occurred during the Articles of Confederation period before the US Constitution was adopted and was done behind the scenes with questionable support beyond a small group. Indeed, it was decades later before some leaders of that period discussed it publicly. After the Shays Rebellion, the then President of the Continental Congress, Nathaniel Gorham, wrote to Prince Heinrich of Prussia, younger brother of King Frederick the Great, and invited him to become king of America. Heinrich replied that he was not interested. It is highly questionable if Gorham would have had the support to have pulled that off even if Heinrich had said "yes".
So, other than the very limited situation of Hawaii, there has never been any substantial political support for a monarchy in America, and only the Gorham attempt had anyone of any political stature supporting such an idea.
