Denver Dems shut down car theft tracking system to protect illegal aliens from ICE

Democrats on the Denver, Colorado City Council just took a major move that certainly benefits car thieves but they assert will also protect illegal aliens from arrest by ICE. They voted to shut down the city's car theft tracking system. Do they think that stolen cars are the main way that illegal aliens try to flee from ICE?

For those citizens who are victims of car theft, whether by an illegal alien or someone else, this is a real bummer. Their possibility of getting their car back has declined so that the Denver Democrats can protect illegal aliens.

Federal criminal law makes it a felony to "harbor" an illegal alien, a law that the Trump administration is starting to enforce, after Biden ignored it. Have the Denver Democrats who voted for this pandering to illegal aliens just made themselves vulnerable to federal charges of harboring illegal aliens?
