British newspaper unearths marriage scandal on Democrat Roy Cooper | Eastern NC Now
Cooper now running for Senate
A major newspaper thousands of miles from North Carolina has done some digging on Roy Cooper and discovered dirt on his marriage that our pro-Democrat NC media have either ignored or failed to discover. The report is from the UK's largest circulation newspaper, the Daily Mail of London.
Cooper met his first wife, Georganne when she was a freshman at UNC and he was her orientation counsellor. When he decided to run for NC House, he did not bother to talk to her about it, just filed and told her that was what he was doing. She did not want a political life and separated, moving to another town, but at his insistance, returned for some political events so he could posture for voters as still being married. Then they secretly divorced.
Cooper began dating his present second wife while she was still married to her first husband.

Given the political bias of the American MSM media, sometimes one has to read foreign news sources to find out what is going on in America. I remember that it was also a British newspaper that first brought out the story on Obama's radical preacher who used to preach "G____ D____ America".
