signifcant numbers of blacks and Hispanics say DEI increases discrimination against them

ENCNow

A recent poll by the Associated Press found that four in ten black Americans and about a third of Hispanics believe that the DEI agenda leads to more discrimination against their own group.  Only about a fourth of white Americans, however believe that DEI increase discrimination against their own group.  That is why a growing number of black Americans and Hispanic Americans are pushing back against the white liberals who promote DEI.

Real Clear Politics has an excellent article on this phenomenon:

But the evil of DEI extends to other groups that people are expected to bow down to.  In Ontario, Canada, a husband and wife who were longtime and very capable teachers were recently fired by their public school district for "not celebrating and affirming the LGBTQ+" ideology.  Their offense?  Their son, who went to Catholic school was suspended for protesting the Catholic school policy of allowing boys who claimed they thought they were girls to use girls restrooms and locker rooms.  When the school board discovered the son's position on the issue, that was enough for them to fire his parents from their teaching jobs.

Beaufort County Community College is all-in on DEI and the county commission needs to do something about that. Also, our current school board majority adopted a MATH curriculum last year that includes some DEI with two members (Hickman and Shreve) opposed. Cheeseman had previously pushed a social studies curricualum called SAVVAS that was loaded with DEI.
