new AP poll: Americans approve of Trump's attack on crime, say it is major issue | Eastern NC Now

A new national poll by the liberal Associated Press (AP) finds that most Americans consider crime to be a major issue. A solid majority favor President Trump's actions to reduce crime.

The poll found that 81% of Americans consider crime to be "a major issue'.  That includes 96% of Republicans, 72% of independents, and even 68% of Democrats.

Overall, 53% of Americans support President Trump's efforts against crime.

Now even liberal Democrat Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has changed her tune and admitted that President Trump's takeover of the city's law enforcement has reduced crime.
