Schumer's $1.5 Trillion Shutdown Shakedown must be stopped | Eastern NC Now

Democrat Senate leader Chuck Schumer is involved in high stakes extortion of the American taxpayer.  He and his Democrat senate co-conspirators are shutting down the federal government unless Republicans agree on an outrageous $1.5 Trillion in extra spending.  This is at a time when our country already faces massive deficit spending and a huge government debt bomb threatening our future.  Schumer and his gang want to put us in an even deeper financial hole.

When one looks at the Schumer Shutdown Shakedown spending package it gets worse.  It includes resuming taxpayer funded healthcare for illegal aliens.  It includes resuming the USAID boondoggle of wasteful woke foreign aid.  It includes extending Obamacare subsidies permanently that Obama himself promised would expire at the end of this year.  And the list of waste could go on.

It is better to shut down the government than give in to Schumer's extortion demands.

Democrats have their first defector on the Schumer Shutdown Shakedown.  Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has openly called it "the wrong thing to do."
