Gallup poll: America's trust in MSM media sinks to all time low of 28% | Eastern NC Now

The trust in American media by the American people continues to sink and has hit a new all time low according to polling by Gallup.  Only 28% of Americans now have any trust at all in our media.  Gallup polls annually on this subject, and trust in media is down 3 more points from last year when it stood at 31% which at that time was also an all time low.  In the 1970s, trust in American media had stood over 70%.

By party, only 8% of Republicans trust the media, compared to 27% of independents and a bare majority of 51% of Democrats.  Those are the lowest trust scores ever for both Republicans and Democrats, and tie the low point for independents.

The media's pushing a political / ideological narrative instead of reporting the news has been the cause of people not trusting them, yet they continue to do it.  The party their narrative favors clearly maintains the most trust in them but even that is sinking.
