Federal judge allows Trump to cut off federal funds to sanctuary cities | Eastern NC Now

pandering to illegal aliens will get expensive for them

ENCNow

A federal district judge in Massachusetts has refused to issue an injunction to stop the Trump administration for cutting off federal funds to cities that have declared themselves sanctuary cities for illegal aliens.  This will allow the administration to move to cut off those funds to sanctuary cities.

Sanctuary cities and counties refuse to honor federal detainers on illegal aliens who have been convicted of crimes so these criminal illegal aliens can be picked up for deportation.  Instead, the sanctuary city or county releases the criminal illegal alien back into the community at the end of their sentence to prey on more Americans.  The illegal alien gang member who murdered Georgia nursing student Laken Riley, for example was released from jail by sanctuary city New York instead of being turned over to ICE for deportation.  He then moved to Georgia and murdered Riley when he should have been returned to his home country instead.

In another key court ruling, the US Supreme Court struck down the order of a California Obama judge that had blocked the administration from revoking the "temporary protected status" of over 300,000 migrants from Venezuela.  That now makes them eligible for deportation.

Meanwhile a poll by the liberal New York Times finds that 52% of Americans support President Trump's deportation policies on illegal aliens while only 24% are strongly opposed.  Support has remained the same since April while opposition has dropped by 2 points.

There is also a federal criminal law that makes harboring illegal aliens a felony. Leaders of sanctuary cities need to be prosecuted and jailed under that law. Lock them up!
