5 states handed out $1.4 Billion in federal Medicaid to illegal aliens | Eastern NC Now

Federal statutory law prohibits illegal aliens from receiving Medicaid, other than emergencies in acute situations.  That has not stopped five states and the District of Columbia from engaging in Medicaid fraud by spending $1.4 Billion in federal taxpayer dollars giving Medicaid to illegal aliens.  The states involved are California, Illinois, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington.  The Biden regime looked the other way on this misuse of taxpayer money, but the Trump administration is not.

To make matters worse, Democrats from some of these states tried to sue the Trump administration to try to block collection of this data.  They were trying to cover up for their Medicaid fraud.

The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that 59% of illegal alien households in the US use one or more welfare programs, something they are not supposed to be entitled to.

Hopefully, the Trump administration will force these states to return this money, and state officials involved in this fraud should be prosecuted for Medicaid fraud.
