More Somali fraud? How did Ilhan Omar enrich herself by $30 million in 1 year? | Eastern NC Now
investigation seeks answers
In 2023, Somali born socialist Congresswoman Ilhan Omar listed the assets of herself and her husband at $1,000. A year later in 2024, on the same congressional form, she listed them as $30 million. In light of the many and ongoing revelations of massive fraud by Somali immigrants, this seems particularly odd. How do you go from $1,000 to $30 Million in one year? An investigation by the National Legal and Policy Center has been launched to try to find out.
