new report delves into Berger machines special interest money operations | Eastern NC Now

Berger allies and lobbyists / special interests have been joined at the hip

ENCNow

State Senate boss, RINO Phil Berger, has taken "pay for play" to a whole new level in Raleigh, making our legislature, particularly the senate side seem like Tammany Hall South. Any special interest that wants legislation passed can make a deal with Uncle Phil to get it passed, no matter how liberal.  All it takes is cash to Berger, a Berger PAC, or a Berger ally.

Hopefully, Berger's constituents have blown that up by flipping him in the primary and replacing him with honest conservative Sam Page.  Pending a recount, Page now leads Berger in the primary by 23 votes.  We saw Berger's rotten special interest schemes at work in our own NC House primary with half a million dollars thrown in by the special interests against an honest conservative.

Now a new report has dropped that digs the dirt on some of the special interest pay for play operations of one of Berger's allies.  The Daily Haymaker reports:

Unfortunately, Stan, so much of the Senate is now composed of Berger puppets that one of his lieutenants is likely to become the New Berger and try to continue pay for play as usual. The sorest of the lot is Senator Brent Jackson. Then there is House ultra-RINO Jimmy Dixon who has made himself extremely useful to Berger and to the special interests in this election cycle, including doing a lot of their recruiting.

I wish cleaning up state government was as easy as cutting off th3e head of the biggest snake in the nest.

RH: What happens hero locally when Berger loses his primary, and that dark money starts to dry up?

We need stronger campaign finance laws to reveal where this dark money actually comes from, but the current leaders in Raleigh profit from it so they will block any reform. There is little doubt in my mind that Monsanto bought our seat for their flunky Armstrong, but as long as the records cannot be accessed, it cannot be proven.

That flood of money to buy our district wasn't Soros money, it was Berger money which is just as bad. Now they have bought themselves a Berger Boy as our state representative. Sickening.

In own NC House primary, I was starting to think there was Soros money involved with over 15 filers in my mailbox in less than a week.
