The number of Virginia Commonwealth Attorneys (DAs) refusing to support far left Governor Spanberger's new gun ban law has expanded to ten, with many sheriffs also joining those standing against it.  The DA's and sheriffs say the law in unconstitutional, and they chose to enforce the Constitution over Spanberger's law.

Lawsuits have also been filed to overturn the law, with each of the two major national gun rights groups, Gun Owners of America and the National Rifle Association each filing a suit, both with local plaintiffs on board.  Assistant US Attorney General for Civil Rights Harweet Dhillon has also announced plans to file a suit against Virginia as the law suppresses the civil rights of Virginia citizens.
