Now it is a Congress seat in CO - Far left socialist takes out another liberal Democrat in primary | Eastern NC Now

The hostile takeover of the US Democrat Party by the far left socialists continues. This time it is a heavily Democrat congressional seat in Colorado, the Denver-based 1st Congressional District.  Fifteen term liberal Democrat Congresswoman Diane DeGette has been ousted in the primary by Ethiopian born far left socialist Melat Kiros.

Kiros is affiliated with an organization that calls itself Democrat Socialists of America.  Political figures as diverse as President Trump and longtime liberal Democrat strategist James Carville, however, directly call them "communists".  Indeed a video clip has surfaced where the national leader of the Democrat Socialists of America explicitly proclaims "our goal is communism."  One of the DSA candidates who recently defeated the chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in a congressional district in New York City was the co-founder a few years ago of an organization whose stated goal is "the total eradication of western civilization."

The Democrats also nominated a far left candidate in Colorado's 8th Congressional District, a GOP-held marginal district, and that bolsters the GOP's odds of holding that seat.  That Democrat is fanatically anti-meat in a major ranching district and fanatically anti-fossil fuel in a major oil and gas producing district.
