FBI joins investigation of sudden and mysterious death of US Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) | Eastern NC Now

A second Republican US Senator has had a mysterious cardiac arrest within weeks.  This time the FBI has announced that it has joined the investigation.

Senator Lindsay Graham (RINO-SC) had just returned from a trip to Ukraine when a 911 call was received that he was in cardiac arrest at his Washington, DC residence.  This happened soon after a telephone call with President Trump in which there was no indication of any problem.  Cardiac arrest is most often a result of natural health problems, and Graham had some history of high blood pressure.  However it can also be induced by introducing certain substances into the body.  The DC Medical Examiner has classified the death certificate as "pending" until completion of toxicology and microscopic examinations.

What has led to more scrutiny of Graham's death, however, is his high profile on foreign policy issues and threats made against him by both Russia and Iran.  Graham was a strong supporter of dealing very firmly with Iran.  Iranian state TV "congratulated the Iranian people" on his death, saying Graham "had been sent to hell".  Several months ago, an official in the Putin regime in Russia had publicly called for Graham "to be flat lined".  At the time of Graham's death, he was heavily involved with President Trump on a new package of sanctions on Russia.  He was also "wanted" by Russia for "terrorism".

The FBI's involvement is to be welcomed.  If this death was from natural causes, conspiracy theories should be put to rest.  If it was not, justice needs to be pursued.

The earlier cardiac arrest of a Republican US Senator involved Senator Mitch McConnell (RINO-KY) which occurred several weeks ago and McConnell has not been seen since.  EMS records show the original call to McConnell's house was for "an unconscious person" and that the EMTs responding reported a "cardiac arrest" and "CPR in progress".  Strange circumstances around that incident have led the leftwing British newspaper The [Manchester] Guardian to contend that he is "secretly deceased". Others contend he is "brain dead." While several Republican politicians have said they talked with McConnell on the phone in remarkably similar accounts, the Democrat governor of Kentucky says he is unable to reach him and demanded a health update.  It was noted that after the ambulance picked up McConnell from his DC residence, it did not turn on its lights or siren for the trip to the hospital.  McConnell and his family have had close ties with Communist China, and it was viewed as odd that three days after McConnell was taken to the hospital, his wife was in China meeting with a top Chinese official.

The attention and questions raised over that incident have heightened the questions raised about Graham's death.
