Tillis waffles on Trump Atty Gen. nominee Blanche - will Tillis betray GOP once again?

Senator Thom Tillis (RINO-NC) is once again posturing as an Undocumented Democrat. He is waffling on President Trump's nominee for US Attorney General Todd Blanche, along with fellow liberal Republican John Cornyn. This follows Tillis' bellyaching about the key election integrity legislation the SAVE America Act, legislation that polls show is overwhelmingly supported by American voters.

As a result of the waffling by Tillis and Cornyn, the vote on Blanche's nomination has been postponed for a week.

When he came to some radical and/or unqualified nominees of the Obama and Biden eras, Tillis had been a rubber stamp in approving them. However, he wants to nitpick Trump appointees, and this is not the first one.

Unfortunately, this behavior by Tillis has the real potential to blow up in the face of his protege Michael Whatley who is GOP nominee for US Senate to succeed him.

RH: IMO, "holding your nose" and voting for the lesser of two known evils is what's wrong with the whole picture. That, alone, has been the biggest reason why the illusion that Washington warned about, in 1796, still persists today; people keep fueling it and do so with ignorance.

The best thing that any true Patriot could do is to cut off both wings of the bird and let it bleed out in front of everybody: If neither candidate from either of the parties isn't worth a damn, don't vote for a single one of them.

If you don't vote for these idiots, you're not giving them consent to govern you. By voting for these jackasses, you're giving your consent to be governed by their "stupid" AND to foot the bill for said "stupid".

I wonder why party handlers, from both sides, push "Vote, Vote, Vote!" and force THEIR way as the ONLY way?

If people don't take part in the ritual, the ritual has no power by default. I think we're going to see this strategy, moreso, in the upcoming midterms.

JV, we have an absolutely dreadful choice between Cooper and Whatley. Neither of them excites voters or is really worth a damn. That said, I will hold my nose for Whatley because Cooper is nothing but a rubber stamp for the Democrat socialist left and always has been. Whatley owes Trump enough that I am confidant that he will at least vote conservative where Trump takes a stand. The Democrats have gone so far to the left that our country simply cannot afford a Democrat senate.

We all need to get to the polls and vote to keep our good conservative sheriff, keep a conservative voice on the county commission with Stan Deatherage, stop the Democrat Soros judges, and reelect our conservative state senator Bob Brinson. We also need to rid ourselves of Don Davis who marched with BLM / ANTIFA in Greenville. The poor choices for US Senate should not keep people from the polls. For that race, we will just have to hold our noses and check the lesser of the evils.

I'll be shocked if Whatley gets it. I'll also be shocked if Cooper gets it. I say that because neither the left or the right has anybody worth a damn. Both of them suck and are nowhere near "A-list" starting lineup material.

The only people voting will probably be those between 69-72....from both sides.

You can't blame the disgruntled voter for letting the politicians and handlers hold the bag on this one. If it all implodes, they can be there, holding their sh**bags, to explain "why" to the press.
