Democrat funder Act Blue phony contributor calls them out - $150,000 in fake contributions | Eastern NC Now

An 88 year old widow who does not own a computer has told a journalist that the $150,000 in Democrat political contributions from her shown on the reports of online Democrat fundraising platform Act Blue were not from her and she knows nothing about them.  She said the few political contributions she had actually given were by check and those are properly shown on FEC reports.

Act Blue reports claim the widow gave 14,696 individual contributions over a five year period, with an average amount of $9.16.  This would have been an average of two contributions per day.

The practice of taking contributions from large donors and falsely attributing them in small amounts to the names of people who did not make them is called "smurfing".  This is just the latest example of Act Blue using this practice.

Act Blue is also under investigation for taking large contributions from Visa or Mastercard gift cards purchased abroad.  It is illegal for foreign citizens to contribute in American political campaigns.

The real question is why this cesspool of political corruption Act Blue has not already been shut down and criminal indictments brought.
