Trump Dept. of Education cracks down on "trans" madness in Kansas school district | Eastern NC Now

the US Department of Education has come down hard on a Kansas school district that sought to hide its gender transition activities from parents.  The Topeka Public School District had established policies that allowed its staff to set up "gender transition plans" for students without telling parents.   Enforcing federal law on parents rights, the US DOE threatened to cut off the district's federal funds.  The school district waved a white flag and agreed to cancel all existing such plans and to change its policy to prohibit such plans unless parents agreed.

The UK's National Health Service, hardly a conservative body, advises its doctors that gender confusion among children is usually temporary and children will usually grow out of it naturally.  They do not advise even new names or pronouns, and certainly not surgery or drugs.  Trying to make a temporary condition like this permanent would seem to rank as child abuse.
