Trump DOT shuts down 270 driving schools giving truck driver licenses to unsafe illegal aliens | Eastern NC Now

Illegal aliens with Commercial Drivers Licenses (CDLs) from Democrat run states have been the cause of a growing number of truck wrecks that killed and maimed Americans.  The Trump administration has run a number of stings and pressured states issuing these CDLs that have taken thousands of these dangerous drivers off the road.

Fluency in English has always been a requirement in federal regs on interstate truck driving, but that was ignored by many Democrats states.  When someone is at the wheel of an 18 wheeler truck and cannot understand the road signs, he is a major danger on the highway.

Now, the US Department of Transportation has plugged another route that helped these illegal aliens who could not properly speak English get CDLs to menace other motorists.  They identified the truck driving schools that were producing these dangerous drivers and just moved to shut down 270 of them.

Driving a truck is a well paid job.  It is certainly not a "job Americans won't do".   The Trump administration has also set up a program to move American military veterans into these jobs.
