Federal judge blocks major part of Virginia sanctuary state law for illegal alien criminals | Eastern NC Now

A senior federal district court judge in Virginia has issued an injunction blocking a major part of Virginia's sanctuary state law signed by far left Governor Abigail Spanberger.  The law seeks to protect illegal aliens who have committed crimes in America by prohibiting county sheriffs from working with ICE to deport them.  The Democrats want to keep these criminals in the country so they can continue committing crimes against Americans, instead of deporting them as federal immigration law calls for.

Many Virginia sheriffs already had written agreements with ICE to cooperate on deportation of illegal aliens who have committed crimes.  Those sheriffs strenuously objected to the Democrat sanctuary state law which would prevent them from keeping their constituents safe.  The US Department of Justice sued the state on their behalf, resulting in the injunction against the state law.

Fortunately, the case did not come before a leftwing partisan hack Obama judge or Biden autopen judge.  Judge Robert Bryce who heard the case was an appointee of Republican moderate George Bush.

In her campaign for Governor, Spanberger openly lied to voters, claiming she was a moderate, but immediately turned far left as soon as she was sworn in.  It shows that Democrat politicians simply cannot be trusted.

the US Department of Justice is also involved in a lawsuit to overturn Virginia Democrats radical gun control law signed by Spanberger.
