Obituary: Patsy F. Fulford | Eastern NC Now

    Mrs. Patsy Foster Fulford, age 61, a resident of 4188 Pamlico Beach Road, Belhaven, NC died Wednesday March 9, 2011 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.

    A graveside funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 12, 2011 at Pamlico Beach Community Cemetery at Ryder Hill officiated by pastor Dean Fulford, Jr. Pallbearers will be Roy L. Foster, Eddie Foster, James Meyers, Van Carter, Morgan Shackelford and Howard Sawyer.

    Mrs. Fulford was born in Beaufort County on July 2, 1949 daughter of the late John Roy Foster, Sr. and Myrtle Foster Garris who survives. She attended John A. Wilkinson High School and married Junious Isaiah “Jr.” Fulford, Jr. on April 18, 1976 who survives. Mrs. Fulford was a homemaker and a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

    Surviving along with her husband Jr. of the home is her mother: Myrtle Foster Garris of Belhaven; a step father: Billy Garris of Belhaven; two brothers: John Roy Foster, Jr. and his wife Tammy and Eddie Thomas Foster and his wife Debbie all of Belhaven and a community of extended family and friends. Mrs. Fulford was preceded in death by a brother: Eddie Thomas Foster.

    Mrs. Fulford will lie in state at her home where the family will receive friends Friday March 11, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
